Autumn / Winter season

We usually close for the month of September to take a break and also to get the gallery ready for the new season. This year was a bit like last year, no holidays but we did take a day here and there closer to home.

It was lovely to have good weather and see a few places we’ve been meaning to get to for ages. The Gobbins was a highlight, Helen’s Tower for a first time visit and a big favourite, chips in Donaghadee! We called in to see some of our local artists too, lovely to catch up and pick up new work in person.

In between our day trips we’ve been restocking and giving the gallery a new look. Lots of new work to see, both in the gallery and on our web shop. It’s been hard work, but hopefully you will like what you see. And yes, we will be able to accept the NI Voucher – you can use it just like a credit card, you can even use it to pay over the phone.

We will continue to do all we can to make you feel safe and comfortable when you come back in – we continue to follow the government guidance – masks are required to be worn inside, we wear one to help protect you, please wear yours to help protect us and other customers, we also provide hand sanitiser. The government has removed the need to socially distance but can we ask everyone be cautious and give each other a little space. If the shop looks crowded please wait until it clears.

We’re excited to be back open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until Christmas – looking forward to catching up with you all. The Gallery is bursting at the seams with new stock so pop in and have a look!
