Oil on canvas - £775

Con was born in Gortin Bush, Co. Tyrone in 1946 but moved to Belfast as a young boy. He has been painting since an early age and one of his first major works was exhibited in the Ulster Museum in 1972. It was his painting of  Arkle, the famous Irish thoroughbred racehorse which began a lifetimes study and appreciation of horses. He is also well know for his paintings of dogs, both racing and domestic.

Con exhibits in very few galleries, he is represented in the Oriel in Dublin and we are very pleased to carry his work here in Comber.
