Esther graduated from Bath College of Higher Education with a BA (Hons) First Class, in illustration, where she subsequently completed a Fellowship in Printmaking. She has exhibited widely within the UK and Ireland in solo and group shows and her work is held in many private, corporate and government collections worldwide.
“My work which is mostly drawing based, translates easily into the medium of printmaking, employing mostly etching and lithographic techniques.
My aim is to portray a pictorial world of simplicity and mystery, existing outside of time and eluding fashion. It’s essence is expressed through a feminine presence, silent and distant, desired and inaccessible, revealed through a series of poetic portraits, each one a contemporary Eve waiting with her story to be told”.
